Education Providers – Existing Course Resubmission
Existing approved Schools providing CE Marketplace certified education courses must resubmit their courses for certification by 11/1/2021 in order to immediately count towards the following year’s licensing education requirements as of 11/1/2021.
The ability to resubmit your Courses will appear under the option ‘Resubmit Courses’ from your School Dashboard available the week of 10/18/2021.
All existing course information will be imported EXCLUDING the course Timed Outline, which will need to be re-attached to the submission. Courses that have been resubmitted for certification after 10/31/2021 will be assigned a new course code.
*On Demand Providers note, you will need to sponsor your courses in order to report to the newly assigned course code.
Before attaching your outline to your resubmission, use this time to make any required revisions and verify the timed outline is an accurate representation of the course objectives as they will be instructed after 11/1/2021.
Existing Course Resubmission Period
The ability to resubmit your existing courses for certification is now available in your School Admin Dashboard.
Updated Course Certification Period
Due to the change in licensing expiration dates, courses will no longer be certified for a static three-year period. Courses will now be certified from the date of certification for a period of one year. Upon the expiration date, the course may be renewed or marked inactive.
Education Providers – New Course Submissions
New course submissions are still subject to a 10-business day review period from the date of submission, unless an expedited review is requested.
Education Providers – Important reminders on concluding the 11/1/2018 – 10/31/2021 licensing cycle:
All existing outstanding School balances and attendance must be reported and paid in full by 11/5/2021. Failure to pay an existing balance will result in a delay or suspension of course certification and/or School account.
When reporting attendance, please include CURRENT LAST NAME AND INDIVIDUAL 10 DIGIT MICHIGAN REAL ESTATE LICENSE NUMBER as found on the licensees pocket card.
